Royce White Kicked Out of DeLaSalle!

According to the Star Tribune:

DeLaSalle, White part ways

DeLaSalle junior Royce White, one of the top basketball recruits in Minnesota, has been dismissed from the school for undisclosed reasons. School officials will not discuss the reasons, or even confirm that it has happened. But it has.

White might be able to gain eligibility at another Minnesota high school next season if his family physically moves. How his dismissal from DeLaSalle affects the recruiting process remains to be seen. The 6-7 forward has been offered scholarships from colleges such as Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan State and Iowa State.

So it's unconfirmed by the school, but it sounds like this guy is pretty certain as to what's up. I doubt White will have trouble finding a new school for next season, I'm guessing schools/coaches are already lined up outside his door, but what does this say about his attitude? Obviously it's just speculation at this point, but with Rodney Williams an academic question mark, the two Minnesota kids for 2009 are looking awfully shaky right now. More as more comes out.

Link here. Thanks to Snacks for the headsup.

Where the hell is the gopher preview?

I better not read any excited chatter from you tomorrow if the gophers win in Bloomington tonight.

Gophers 75 IU 70. Hoff re-discovers his stroke tonight and him and Larry light it up from beyond the arc.

Here's your preview: The Gophers can't beat good teams, thusly, they lose 72-60 tonight. I refuse to let them suck me in again. It's over. CBI here we come.

I think your preview sucks.

Have fun watching Depaul host Long Beach State the Dumpster Arena in the CBI. I will be bellied up at the bar watching the gophs in action as a 10 seed in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney.
